    Hi Pat!
I just saw your Baggy Yellow Shirt story flying across the net again so I had to return to your website to give the sender all of your data and introduce her to more great stories by my favorite author!
    Keep on writing, girl!

Is Lorenz your maiden name? I had a good friend with your name in high school in Parsons KS. But she moved away and we didn’t keep in touch. I know it’s not likely, but just couldn’t pass up the chance to see if you were the same person.
I received an ad from Guideposts today for 2 of your books and I’m ordering them. They sound great!

Today I received an email titled “The Yellow Shirt”. It is without a doubt one of the most moving writings I have ever read. It made me think of my own mother and our deep love and friendship that was between us. I forwarded the email to all my family and friends back in Illinois and one of the girls I sent it to lives in Rock Falls, IL. She told me this was written by you and that you were raised in Rock Falls. Well, I was born and raised in Dixon, IL and relocated 5 years ago to Montrose, CO with my retired husband. Thank you Patricia for all your fantastic works and sharing your gift with us.

I am not an avid reader, but picked up Life’s Too short to Fold Your Underwear. Knowing it is a Christian book, I decided to read the first story while my husband and I were having our quiet time. That was a mistake. First of all, it wasn’t really a devotion, but I was curious. As I read the story, I got tickled and started chuckling. My chuckling continued and turned into laughing. I laughed so much that I had tears. I wasn’t very considerate of my husband’s quiet time, so I learned not to read the book at that time. I needed that laugh more than I knew. There are great stories in that book that women can definitely relate to. Thanks for sharing.
